Search Committee for Rector is working on a parish profile.
Holy Faith Episcopal Church was started by a group of some seventeen families in Port St Lucie when there were less than 1200 homes here. That was in 1966, and since that time, the community has grown exponentially to what has become one of the fastest growing communities in the country.  The current population figure stands at slightly over 200,000, and there is no end in sight, although the growth has slowed over the past few years.

Three hospitals serve the area, along with a progressive public school system, which is enhanced by magnet and private schools, and Indian River State College. There is small industry in the area, and we are currently under consideration for relocation of research laboratories. Port St Lucie is the winter training home of the New York Mets.

Holy Faith has a multicultural congregation of approximately 200 members, some of whom are winter residents. There are two services (8:00 and 10:00) in English each Sunday, one service (12:00) in Spanish, and one service (7:00 p.m.) in Creole for our Haitian congregation. Our summer English schedule is one service at 9:00. We also have an English service on Wednesday at 10:00. We enjoy a fully rounded list of committees for the betterment of our people, and have an extended outreach program to help the distressed families in the area.
