This summer, Soul in the City is back in full swing!

The diocese wants to help you cultivate a heart of serving within your students.

That is the heartbeat of Soul in the City, creating a meaningful experience where youth ministries can serve together and students can discover the transforming power of serving and community.

Who: Middle & High School Students with adult leaders

Churches, whether you have 2 youth or 30, this is for you! Bring your youth and adult leader(s) for a great week of serving and connection. You will register as a church group. Churches provide transportation to and from Soul in the City, plus throughout the week. Also, your adult leaders are responsible for your group during the week.

How many adults should you bring? 1 adult for every 8 students.

Soul in the City will provide:

• Housing
• Meals from Monday lunch to Friday lunch
• T-shirt
• Worksite projects
• Group activities
• Worship

Theme: Under the Influences
The struggle is real. We are continuously under the influences of the world. The constant stream of messages in our digitally-driven world can cause us to underestimate their influence.

At Soul in the City, we will pause and examine the lies of these messages that we accept as true. As we dive into God’s Word, we’ll be able to recognize these lies so that we can lean into who God says we are and our response to His love.
