In response to the tragedy on June 12 in Orlando, the Institute for Christian Studies is offering a one day workshop on understanding grief and working with people in grief.

Archdeacon Kristi Alday will lead the workshop. Archdeacon Alday is the former COO of Walking the Mourner’s Path, a national and international grief ministry. She spent several years traveling and teaching grief and how to facilitate grief support groups. She worked in New York after 9/11 and additionally has a Master’s Degree in Counseling.

This workshop is open to any person – clergy or lay people – who is interested and there is no fee for attending.

The workshop will be held on Saturday, July 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at:
