Anderson_MikeOn behalf of Bishop Brewer, we are sad to announce that the Rev. Mike Anderson died January 8. Mike had been diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) some time ago, but death did not appear imminent. He leaves behind his wife of 28 years, Susan, and three grown daughters.

Please pray for the repose of Mike’s soul, the comfort of Susan and the family, as well as for Grace Episcopal Church in Ocala where he was raised up and served as deacon.

Into your hands, O merciful Savior, we commend your
servant Michael. Acknowledge, we humbly beseech you, a sheep of
your own fold, a lamb of your own flock, a sinner of your
own redeeming. Receive him into the arms of your mercy,
into the blessed rest of everlasting peace, and into the
glorious company of the saints in light. Amen.

May his soul and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
