The Episcopal Diocese of Central Florida announced Monday, Sept. 18, that there are multiple ways to reach out and help churches and parishioners affected by Hurricane Irma.
The Rev. Canon Tim Nunez, Canon to the Ordinary, said individuals, businesses, and churches are welcome to write a check made out to: Diocese of Central Florida, noting “Hurricane Relief” in the memo, and mailing to: Episcopal Diocese of Central Florida, 1017 E. Robinson St., Orlando, FL 32801.
Donors also can make donations on the cfdiocese.org website at: https://secure.accessacs.com/access/oglogin.aspx?sn=91632 on the internet. In the appropriate boxes, please indicate how much you would like to give, select a fund from the dropdown menu, write in an optional memo if desired, type in your email address, and hit the “Continue” button.
Episcopal Relief & Development (ERD) also is offering assistance throughout Florida and Georgia, as well as supporting partners in Caribbean, according to the www.disasternews.net website.
Donations can be made in the amounts of $25, $50, $100, $500 or a custom amount on the ERD’s hurricane relief web page at: https://support.episcopalrelief.org/hurricane-relief on the internet. Donors can choose to elect their donation as a one-time contribution or recurring monthly gift.
Relief contributions can be made via Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover.
