Service, Location & Reception

  • Service Date & Time: Monday, Nov. 11, 2024, at 1 p.m.
  • Service Location: The Cathedral Church of St. Luke is located at 130 N. Magnolia Ave., Orlando, FL 32801. Click here for directions.
  • Reception: A reception will be held in the Cathedral's Great Hall and Dean’s Courtyard immediately following the service.

Seating & Livestream

  • Seating in the Cathedral will be very limited.
  • Overflow seating with a livestream of the service will be available in the Cathedral's Great Hall.
  • For those with mobility issues, the Great Hall may be a more comfortable way to attend the service.
  • There will be a communion station in the Great Hall.
  • Once we have reached capacity in the Cathedral and Great Hall, the livestream of the service will be available at live.ccslorlando.org.

Parking Location

  • Regions Bank: Regions Bank Garage, 111 N. Orange Ave. located off E. Washington St. Upon entering you will be prompted to take a ticket. You will need the entrance ticket with a validation ticket to exit the garage.
  • Validation Tickets: Vouchers for parking may be obtained from one of the ushers upon arrival for those parking in this location.

Vesting Location & Information

  • Vesting Location: Bishops will gather and vest in the Education Building, with assistance available in both the parking lot and courtyard.
  • Opening Time: The room will open at 9:00 a.m.
  • Vestments: Rochet, chimere, and tippet
  • Refreshments: Water and light snacks will be available.
  • Bulletins: Service bulletins will be on your seat in the Cathedral.

Spouses

  • Gathering Location: Spouses will gather in the Military Chapel, located near the Education Building, with water and refreshments provided.
  • Reserved Seating: Spouses will be escorted into the church at 12:20 p.m. for reserved seating.

Procession Instructions

Please be ready to process in your vesting area by 12:45 p.m. We will have someone come to escort you to the front of the Cathedral.

Vesting Location & Information

  • Vesting Location: St. James Catholic Cathedral, 505 East Ridgewood Street, Orlando, FL 32803. Two rooms will be available for clergy to gather and vest, along with a separate room for spouses.
  • Vestments: Cassock, surplice, and white stole are required for all clergy participating in the procession.
  • Refreshments: Light snacks and water will be available in the vesting areas.

Spouses

Clergy spouses will be directed to a room at St. James Catholic Cathedral with water and light snacks where they may gather. Reserved seating will be provided for them; however, they must arrive at St. James by 12:00 p.m. to be ready for escort into the Cathedral.

Due to space and seating limitations, only clergy spouses can be accommodated in this room, as well as in the reserved seating in the Cathedral.

Procession Instructions

  • Lining Up: Please be fully vested and ready to line up in pairs by 12:10 p.m. at St. James Catholic Cathedral. If you are not vested and ready by 12:10 p.m., you will unfortunately not be able to join the procession and will need to find a seat in the church or the Great Hall.
  • Order of Procession: Deacons will line up first, followed by priests.
  • Route: Clergy will process from St. James Catholic Cathedral to Jefferson Street, then enter through the two main doors on Magnolia Street.
  • Bulletins: Service bulletins will be on your seat in the Cathedral.

Please note that the doors to St. James will be locked during the service.
