Camp Wingmann Offers Winter, Summer Camps for 2021December 17, 2020 • Nina Keck  • CHILDREN & YOUTH

A bonfire is one of the features of the second night of camp.

Camp Wingmann will host its winter camp on Jan. 1-3, 2021. “This is a weekend retreat that mimics summer camp in the best way, but it’s in the middle of winter!” said Camp Wingmann’s office manager, Christin Hill.

The camp is open to grades 3-12, and the cost is $125 per camper. COVID-19 guidelines and protocol are in place, and all staff will be screened and trained on disease prevention and control.

During winter camp, campers will have a chance to reconnect with friends, make new friends and enjoy all of Camp Wingmann’s best activities. “We’ve got kayaking, archery, sports, a ropes course, camp games and worship services for a fun-filled, God-glorifying weekend!” Hill says.

The theme for the camp is “Set Free,” and the scripture is John 8:31b-32 (ESV): “If you abide in  my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. All programs, devotions and chapel services will incorporate the two.

Counselors from previous summers will serve as guest speakers.

The dates for summer camp 2021 have also been set. There will be five sessions, and like winter camp, summer camp is also open to grades 3-12. The cost is $495 per camper per session, and registration is open now. To register your child and for more information about Camp Wingmann, please go to campwingmann.org
