On behalf of Bishop Brewer, we are sad to share news of the death of Karisse Joy Schilling, daughter of the Rev. Wally Schilling. She was 37.

Karisse was a melanoma survivor for about 10 years until the disease returned and took her life. She was an active missioner with YWAM and other ministries and shared the gospel in 27 countries. She was also active in the war against human trafficking and various forms of persecution, as well as other causes.

LIFE LEGACY

Karisse Joy Schilling, 37, died early Wednesday morning, May 18, 2016, in Melbourne, Florida. She was born in Akron, Ohio, on April 7, 1979. She is survived by her father, the Rev. Walter “Wally” B. Schilling III; her sister, Kristel Renée Schilling, of Melbourne, Fla.; and a very large, loving, extended family.
