St. Richard’s Episcopal Church, 5151 Lake Howell Road, Winter Park, will hold a blessing of the animals at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 8.

The church annually celebrates St. Francis Day with a blessing of the animals. Pet owners are asked to bring their animals to the breezeway and memorial garden at the church.

St. Richard’s also will have a full service with Eucharist on Sunday, according to rector, the Rev. Alison Harrity. There will be no education classes that day.

The church’s new breakfast club crew will serve hot dogs and ice cream following the service. For more information, call 407-671-4211.
