One of the most talented up-and-coming musicians in the Diocese of Central Florida will put on a special performance at 3 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 14, at the Cathedral Church of St. Luke in downtown Orlando.

Michael LeGrand, who is guest organist on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for St. Richard’s Episcopal Church in Winter Park, will play masterpieces for the pipe organ at St. Luke, 130 N. Magnolia Ave. LeGrand currently is a senior organ student at the University of Notre Dame, according to a St. Richard’s news release.

The event, which is sponsored by the Central Florida Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, will feature the following pieces:

  • Bach – Prelude and Fugue in D
  • Bach – Trio Sonata No. 6 in G
  • Frescobaldi – Toccato Nona
  • Mozart – Fantasia in F Minor
  • Mendelssohn – Sonata No. 4 in B-flat
  • Marcel Dupre – Prelude and Fugue in G Minor
  • Craig Phillips – Fanfare
