The Church of the Holy Spirit in Apopka, Florida, is full of anticipation as we seek a full-time Rector. We are a caring and friendly congregation that values traditional worship
and music, but welcomes change. Our faithful and dedicated membership averages a Sunday attendance of approximately 85 participants.
Our Mission Statement is “To Know Christ and make Him Known.” The ideal candidate
will inspire and lead us to boldly proclaim our faith in order to grow our membership and
help us to make changes to attract families and children to our church. We are at an important cross road that requires an energetic, diplomatic, and visionary Rector to help us navigate the journey ahead with confidence, wisdom, and grace.
We are blessed with two beautiful churches located 16 miles northwest of Orlando. The
“Little Church” is a designated Florida Historical Site. Apopka is a fast-growing, diverse
community with a small-town feel. It is renowned for its agriculture, wildlife, and
natural surroundings which include the Wekiva Springs State Park, Kelly Park Rock
Springs, Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive, and the Northwest Recreation Complex.
