Safe Church, Safe CommunitiesThe Diocese of Central Florida is now using Praesidium Academy’s “Safe Church, Safe Communities” abuse prevention training curriculum. Please make note of the change and be sure you are using the correct required curriculum.
Those tasked with coordinating the online “Safe Church, Safe Communities” abuse prevention training for clergy, staff, and volunteers through Praesidium Academy must be given administration privileges. Each church or school in the diocese must appoint one administrator.
Please contact Adria Northern at anorthern@cfdiocese.org to request a Praesidium Academy administrator invitation and receive additional information.
Current administrators with a Praesidium Academy account and admin privileges are encouraged to log in to Praesidium Academy and, based on your role, complete the new “Safe Church, Safe Communities” required curriculum.
Additionally, the training videos that assist admins are recommended. Click here to log in to Praesidium Academy and go to the Advanced Admin Portal to access admin training topics. See detailed navigation instructions with screenshots below.

Once current administrators are logged in to the Praesidium Academy, from the administrator dashboard, navigate to the Advanced Admin Portal by clicking the “Admin Portal” button on the right side of the page. See the screenshot below for reference.
Once at the Advanced Admin Portal, on the left side of the page (see image below), administrators can access training topics along with video instruction. It is highly recommended that administrators complete all training topics to get comfortable with navigating the Praesidium Academy site and prepare to oversee training for the clergy, staff, and volunteers at their church, office, or school.
