St. Richard’s parishioners can take part in one of the busiest days of the year this Sunday: Advent 4 and Christmas Eve.

The church, located at 5151 Lake Howell Road, Winter Park, announced that it will hold worship for Dec. 24, Advent 4, with a Holy Eucharist Rite I at 8 a.m., and Holy Eucharist Rite II at 10:30 a.m. All are welcome to participate in greening of the sanctuary after the 10:30 a.m. service. There will be no education classes on Christmas Eve.

Christmas Eve worship service will be held at in two sessions: Holy Eucharist Rite II with the family pick-up pageant at 4 p.m., followed by Holy Eucharist Rite I at 7:30 p.m.

On Christmas Day, Monday, Dec. 25, a Holy Eucharist Rite II with organ and carols will be held at 10:30 a.m. Dr. Carl MaultsBy is conductor, and Michael LeGrand will be on organ. George Frideric Handel’s Messiah (Part 1 – excerpts) will be sung with The St. Richard’s Strings for Christmas services.
