Kids who love art will not have to wait until summertime to explore their talents – thanks to The Episcopal Church of the Holy Presence in DeLand.

The Episcopal Church of the Holy Presence, located at 355 N. Kepler Road, once again, will host Spring Art Camp “Growing the Fruit of the Spirit.” Open to youth in first through fifth grades, the camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, March 12, through Friday, March 16.

“Holy Presence in DeLand is blessed with many artists in the midst of us,” said the Rev. Dawn McDonald. “Last year, we ran an art camp for the spring break with a huge success. So, we are running yet another camp this year to theme of ‘Growing the Fruit of the Spirit.’”

Cost is $25 per students, but scholarships are available. Space is limited, so parents and legal guardians are asked to register their children as soon as possible by calling 386-734-5228.
