Jesus once said: “I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
One of Christ’s most famous teachings about the power of prayer and faith continues to be a lasting influence for people from one side of the world to the other, even in small towns like Enterprise, Florida.
On April 13-14, All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Enterprise will host a “Strength In Unity” gathering, an opportunity for all Christian healing ministries in Florida to come together for a weekend of worship, prayer, encouragement and sharing. The purpose of the event is to help ministries assist those in need through Christ’s healing love.
The event will run from 7 to 9:30 p.m., Friday, April 13, and then from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, April 14.
The Rev. Dr. Sharon Lewis, who served as rector at Church of the Holy Spirit in Osprey for 15 years, will be on hand representing The Amazing Love Healing Ministry. Lewis formed the ministry in 1994 out of a personal need and has watched it expand into an international and inter-denominational ministry, helping those in desperate need of healing from war-torn countries such as Rwanda and Uganda.
