Designer cupcakes are a popular item at the annual Fall Bazaar at Church of the Holy Spirit in Apopka.

For years, the annual Holiday Bazaar Cafe and Gift Boutique at Church of the Holy Spirit has been one of the most popular fall bazaars in the Apopka area.  And this year should be no different based on what organizers have planned.

This year’s bazaar will be held Saturday, Nov. 10, and will feature a great selection of handcrafted gift items, holiday décor, vintage and hand-crafted jewelry, and homemade entrées, desserts and treats made by some of the best cooks in Apopka, according to Church of the Holy Spirit spokesperson Joan Hensley. Local area vendors also will be onsite with a variety of gift items for everyone.

The event starts at 9 a.m. The public is invited to come early and enjoy coffee and breakfast sliders. Church of the Holy Spirit is located at 601 S. Highland Ave., Apopka.

Helping to ensure the event is a success is The Women of the Church (WOC) group, which prepares gift items for all ages, including handknit and crocheted items; fun items for your pets, including gourmet dog treats; Christmas decorations; and centerpieces perfect for your home use or gift giving. The frozen entrées also are great way to help those through the busy holiday season.

This year’s annual Fall Bazaar at Church of the Holy Spirit will be held Saturday, Nov. 10.

Additionally, designer cupcakes are always a popular item and sell out quickly. A nice selection of bath and body items also will be available in a variety of gift packages.

Proceeds from the event enable the WOC to fund its scholarship program and provide continuing support to Church of Holy Spirit and the Apopka community, Hensley said.
