The Diocese of Central Florida is sad to announce that its longtime friend and colleague, Tali Anderson, died in Orlando on Sunday, Jan. 13.
Anderson was a former executive assistant for Bishop John Howe, who served from 1990-2012. Howe was the third Bishop for the Diocese of Central Florida.
Having served Howe for more than two decades, Anderson was known for her professionalism, sense of humor, her love for her native United Kingdom, and dedication to the mission and ministry of the diocese. She is survived by a daughter, Melanie.
A resurrection service with Holy Eucharist was celebrated at 4 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 23, at All Saints’ Episcopal Church, 338 E. Lyman Ave., Winter Park, FL 32789. Bishop Greg Brewer presided.
A reception followed in the Mary Martha Parlor. Attending clergy did not vest and process.
