The Diocese of Central Florida will once again host a year-end class for the Automated Church System (ACS) software program that many church administrators and leaders are using for membership and accounting.
The class will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 30, at The Diocese of Central Florida, 1017 E. Robinson St., Orlando, FL 32801. There is no cost for employees and volunteers of member parishes of the Diocese of Central Florida and lunch will be provided.
The class is designed to familiarize participants with the concepts and procedures necessary to move smoothly through the year-end closing and the transition into the new year for those using the ACS software.
Also, the class is valuable even to those who don’t use the ACS software. The class will cover universal year-end concepts that apply to all churches, confirming the value of networking with other persons who work in financial/administration services.
Individuals who desire to attend the class can register by clicking the link for the 2018 ACS Year-End Class:
Since the class has been a sellout the last few years, organizers are asking interested churches to limit the number of attendees from your location to two. Each person from each church location should register via the aforementioned link. The Diocese is making this request to maximize representation from as many congregations as possible.
Those congregations who desire to bring more than two people are asked to contact administrative assistant Beverly Jennings via email at bjennings@cfdiocese.org or phone at 407-206-4424. Seats remaining open after the Wednesday, Nov. 26 deadline will be opened back up for those on the waiting list on a first-come, first-serve basis.
