The Diocese of Central Florida continues its growth among clergy when Bishop Greg Brewer ordains Jesse Lassiter to the Sacred Order of Deacons in Christ’s One Holy, Catholic and Apostolic church at 7 p.m., Friday, March 22, at St. James Episcopal Church in Ormond Beach.

The diocese requests your prayers and presence for the event, which will be followed by a reception. St. James is located at 38 South Halifax Drive in Ormond Beach.

Lassiter is scheduled to be ordained as transitional deacon with the goal of becoming St. James’ future associate priest.
