The Diocese of Central Florida continues its extraordinary growth for clergy when the Rt. Rev. Gregory O. Brewer, Bishop, receives the Rev. Charles Thomas Myers into the priesthood of the Episcopal Church at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 9, at St. John the Baptist Church, 1000 Bethune Drive, Orlando.
Brewer, who has served the Diocese since 2012, will preach and preside at the celebration of Myers’ new ministry and institution as rector at St. John the Baptist. Brewer announced at the Diocesan 50th Annual Convention that 49 people are currently in the ordination process.
The diocese requests your prayers and presence for the occasion, which will be followed by a reception. Clergy are asked to wear red stoles.
