The 2019 Diocesan Convention will be held Friday, Feb. 1, at First Baptist Church, 3000 S. John Young Parkway, Orlando, Florida 32805; and Saturday, Feb. 2, at Trinity Prep, 5700 Trinity Prep Lane, Winter Park, Florida 32792.

Highlights from the proposed agenda:

Friday, Feb. 1

  • Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Diocese of Central Florida begins with a Revival service featuring The Most Reverend Michael Curry, Presiding Bishop of The Episcopal Church, at 7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Orlando. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Interested persons are asked to bring their friends to a worship service that will include:

  • Music that reflects our cultural diversity.
  • Heartfelt testimonials from people of faith.
  • Enthusiastic, interesting, often funny preaching that brings people in and calls them to a deeper relationship with Jesus.

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Childcare: Due to our location, we cannot offer childcare.
  • Cost: Free, but please register at the aforementioned link, so we know you are coming!
  • Security: We will have uniformed security and an EMT on the premises.
  • Tickets: This is a free event, but we are asking that you register for your ticket for the evening at the aforementioned link. This way, we will know how much space is needed for Feb. 1.
