He answered, “Whoever has two coats should share with somebody who has none, and whoever has food should do the same.” – Luke 3:11

The Ladies of Grace group at Church of the Holy Child in Ormond Beach is taking that Bible verse to heart this fall as it holds a Children’s Clothing Drive at 9 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 4. This is the second clothing drive, following the one held on Sunday, Oct. 14.

The missionary group is collecting new (with tags) or gently worn children’s coats, jackets, sweaters, mittens, gloves, hats, shoes and socks for the homeless and disadvantaged children in its local area schools and shelters. Donors are asked to bring their items and place them in the donation box in the Fellowship Hall.

Additionally, the Ladies of Grace is seeking volunteers to sort out the donations beginning at 9 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 7, and additional volunteers to help deliver the items in the afternoon to local areas.

Ormond Beach is located in northeastern Volusia County, north of Daytona Beach, and in the Northeast Deanery of the Diocese of Central Florida. Church of the Holy Child is located at 1225 W. Granada Blvd. (SR 40), Ormond Beach.
