Church of the Good Shepherd, Maitland
Posted 3/25/2026

Parish Summary
The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd is a historic and beloved parish in Maitland, FL, with roots going back to 1883. We believe our history and our welcoming community give us a compelling foundation from which to grow. We are a parish with a solid foundation and a congregation-wide desire to open our doors more widely to a larger community.
Good Shepherd is taking intentional steps to reach out to our neighbors, and we are eager for a Rector who shares our vision and will help lead that effort. Our mission is simple: “Glorify God, gather people, and feed them with His grace”. We are Biblical and believe in the Creeds. We worship, pray, receive from God in Word and Sacraments, and then go out to do His work. Care for the whole person is woven into the rhythm of life at Good Shepherd, and it shows up in both our formal ministries and our everyday relationships.

St. James Episcopal Church, Ormond Beach
Posted 2/18/2026
Parish Summary
A historic beach-side church located in the heart of Ormond Beach since 1890, St. James has a rich history and is committed to serving our greater community. As living witnesses to the Gospel, we reach out to all of God’s people to understand their concerns, serve their needs, and spread His word.
We are one of 78 churches in the Diocese of Central Florida. As Anglicans, what we believe can best be summarized by the Nicene Creed. We express our faith through our baptismal covenant, and by continuing the Apostolic Church’s pattern of life: personal devotion through the holy scriptures, active participation in Eucharist, and the prayers of the Daily Office.
St. James Episcopal Church is not just a place of worship, but a community of people who care for one another. Through our variety of programs and events for people of all ages, there is something for everyone. We believe in fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone can feel at home.

Since our founding in 1893, St. Margaret’s Church has stood as a witness to the Gospel of Christ. We proclaim the good news of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, as taught by Holy Scripture and received by the Christian tradition.
St. Margaret’s is one of the 78 churches in the Diocese of Central Florida, which is a Communion Partner Diocese of The Episcopal Church under Bishop Justin Holcomb. The Communion Partners stand as a witness within The Episcopal Church to orthodox theology, in continuity with traditional Christian doctrine, seeking to promote our unity with Anglicans across the world.
As a member of the Anglican Communion, our parish is a part of the third largest body of Christians in the world. We are proud to be a part of this global movement of 80 million Christians across 160 countries, who are in communion with the historic seat of the Archbishop of Canterbury, and tracing our heritage through the Church of England. Our church is part of the American expression of Anglicanism and holds to traditional Christian beliefs as received by the Anglican tradition.
