2026 Diocesan Convention Sermon

“Diocese of Central Florida, this is who you are: rooted and grounded in love—beloved children of the Father, secured by the Son, strengthened by the Spirit.”

At the 57th Annual Diocesan Convention Eucharist, the Rt. Rev. Dr. Justin S. Holcomb offered a word of comfort and encouragement drawn from Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 3. His sermon centered on a simple yet life-changing truth: God’s message is “Receive,” not “Achieve.” And what we receive is the love of God that surpasses knowledge.
